Consumer Information
During the process of delivering our content to you, Photogon does not collect any personally identifiable information about you such as name, address, phone number, or e-mail address. However, Photogon does obtain some types of non-personally identifiable information such as the Internet Service Provider you use to connect to the Internet, your browser type, or the type of computer operating system you use (Macintosh or Windows, for example). The information collected by Photogon is used for the purpose of evaluating website effectiveness.

When registering with us, we do require some specific personal information, which is kept strictly confidential, which is explained here.

Data Collection
Photogon, as well as most sites on the Internet, use "cookies" to enhance your experience on the web. Photogon cannot use these cookies to personally identify you in any way. What are cookies and why do we use them? A cookie is a very small file that your browser remembers. This file helps Photogon track website usage, and evaluate navigation tools. In addition, it allows the system to recognize you when you sign in, and automate some aspects of content delivery to you.  While we believe that cookies enhance your Internet experience by allowing us to cater the site to your needs, they are not required for you to browse the Photogon.

Site Registration
In order to participate is some of the Photogon activities, you will need to register with us.  The registration form will require some personal information, such as your email, name, phone number,  and address.  This information is required so that we can insure that each registration belongs to a real person or company. This is critical to the atmosphere of trust that is required if  members are to buy and sell from each other. 

The information you provide in your registration remains strictly confidential to all third parties.  However, if you initiate a contact with another Photogon member, then your name and your email address will be sent to this member.   You may then choose to release further information about yourself in subsequent contacts.  This is the only case in which your personal information will be available to anyone other than Photogon and you.  We will not release this information to any other parties, unless required by applicable laws.
